Vision: Strange Bedfellows

In the last couple of months,I had this vision flash, flashing before my eyes.

I heard clearly the word 'strange bedfellows'. This flash had moved so swiftly. This morning I was again reminded of it, this time with some urgency.

I waited on the Lord, to refresh, explain and expand :



I saw crowds, at the very busy railway station in Churchgate-Bombay, and Gard du Nord- in Paris, France as well as the large railway station in New York.

People who were once going in different directions to the others, were now waving at each other, they had been strangers, but now were striking up relationships.

They were all to wait to board their own trains. Many had tickets, but there were those on the platforms who were ticketless travellers. Those who had tickets, had recieved them from white eagles.

The ticketless were engaging those with tickets in conversations.

The ticketless were charmers, they reasoned at length with those who had tickets, that they could get where they were going by a shorter route. These ticketless charmers sounded so reasonable, so well-informed, they could relate the history of train travel and accidents and events that had taken place in the past, but they themselves had actually NEVER travelled.

This they did not reveal to those who had tickets.

As they stood at the platforms they looked so knowledeable. Some among the ticketless had had tickets, but the glamor of the attention they recieved at the railway stations from the crowds, made some who had tickets, discard them onto the platform floor, whilst others had retained the ticket in the recesses of their pockets but forgotten about them. So such were 'ticketless' too, in a manner of speaking.

The emotions of many among those who had tickets, was stirred by the knowledgeable chatter of the 'ticketless.'

EVERYTHING SOUNDED SO REASONABLE AND WHAT WAS BEING FORECAST BY THE TICKETLESS TRAVELLERS SOUNDED SO EASY AND GLAMOROUS.

Some had tickets for quite another direction, but some strange mergers were leading these travellers to forsake their own destination and follow another's.

" Let's do this for peace's sake," I heard them say one to another.

As they merged in the crowd, each coming towards each other from the opposite direction............I heard: STRANGE BEDFELLOWS.

These mergers would cause many to co-habit, who once would never have even thought in their wildest imaginations to do such a thing. They were 'crossing over' to the other side. Some had left these crowds in the past, determined they would not lose sight of their destination, but the 'seeming' delay of the trains, got them engaged in the chatter. Their ailing eyesight and little understanding of the Language written on the tickets had frustrated them. The ticketless could tell from afar, who these semi-literates and feeble-eyed were.

The ticketless would lead them into stationary trains, which either had engine problems, or were not scheduled to travel, but were there to be cleaned.

I saw people on stretchers, some bandaged, others with catheters etc attached being taken to the Hospital train. But these too were being hi-jacked. The ticketless were telling such patients, and those attending to them, that their healing could come by just 'talking about it' with them, they need not go to the Hospital train.

The 'soothing' words of the ticketless, made those who were carrying/wheeling these stretchers, with the ill and injured laid on it, to stop and engage in the chatter.

Oh! There were strange goings-on on these international railway stations!

But there were those with tickets, who waited quietly, looking up at the train schedule, they did not take a break to snack, they just silently stood away from the crowd near the pillars, never getting distracted. They travelled light, and had enough food upon their person, to sustain them.

I understood that those with tickets were those who had some knowledge of the Language. The tickets bore all the instructions they needed for that particular time, and they knew that on board the train, more would be revealed. They had waited so long, they were not going to allow any to distract them. They could read the Language on the tickets and if any feeble-eyed passed by and sought their help, without losing focus, they were able to read out aloud, to the traveller.

I saw that very few came their way to seek their help.

I understood from the vision, that the eyes of many had become feebled because the ticketed had continuously strained them and not regularly cleaned them.

The crowds around the ticketless fascinated many, and they flocked there in hordes.


What I believe the Lord is Saying:

Many have given up waiting for the Lord to Speak into their situations, lives. Their eyes are affixed on the affirmations of man.
Such are those who have suffered much rejection in their lives, often times felt misunderstood, abused, unloved.

The ticketless pamper them, flatter them, engage them, affirm them, confirm them, and even make them feel worthy.
God has been Working in their lives,to deliver them, but these are impatient. They are impatient and want healing NOW.

They are fascinated by the magical, which seems more sudden and make things happen in an instant, than the miracles of God. Their weakness is emotions and getting easily glamorized and convinced by the arguments of men.

Such are easy prey for the ticketless travellers.

Check which direction you are headed, are they as per the Lord's Instructions?
Who are your fellow travellers ? Are you amidst strange bedfellows?

HEBREWS 12 NIV

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. 9Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! 10Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. 11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

12Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. 13"Make level paths for your feet,"[b] so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Warning Against Refusing God
14Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind, though he sought the blessing with tears.
18You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; 19to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, 20because they could not bear what was commanded: "If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned."21The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, "I am trembling with fear."

22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, 24to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." 27The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29for our "God is a consuming fire."

Read the updated blog-the message on the 'ticketless' was so insightful- a message to help us keep prudent and not get lured away by charmers who try to cover up ungodliness with layers and layers of senseless intelligence and intellectualism.
