Moving on
Last night as I went to bed I was praying for K. She needs to move from where she currently is and has no place to go and no money. Like the rest of us there is a great need for provisions of some kind. I had hoped that, while we were all in our present situations, we would all be miraculously healed, given lots of money, buildings…and whatever else. I, myself, did not want any kind of interim or transitional solution. I felt I could not endure any more waiting. But last night I came to what, I believe, is an understanding of what is going to happen for us. This “understanding” came while I was praying for direction.
It is time to move on…this has been made very clear I think…including the necessity for K. to move. Our moving on may be with only just what is necessary to get us there. We will go in faith. I KNOW that I am returning to K.C. When I had the opportunity to do that before I didn’t have enough money to live very long and I was wondering why I should return anyway because there did not seem to be anything there. This time will be different. I may have only enough to get me there, I may be offered a temporary place to stay but I know now that I can go and go in faith. It’s what God wants…I know it in my heart and in my gut. He wants us to BELIEVE and go even when we are uncertain of our purpose or whether there will be future provision and I EMPHATICALLY state right here and now….THERE WILL BE FUTURE PROVISION!!!…no ifs, ands or buts!!!
I WANT to walk in faith. I WANT to have that faith rewarded by the Lord because it pleased Him. He is not asking for much…just that we “go” when the opportunity presents itself. This is what is in His heart now. If I had been healed or managed to push open a shut door I would have been striving to make provision happen myself. I would not have been content to wait on God. We have been removed from the ability to make much of this happen for ourselves. Housing, money, and our needs met have all been completely reliant on Him. He wants us to know contentment in our trust in Him and only true faith can bring that contentment.
We are ABRAHAM of old being called to leave ALL that he knew and go to a land of promise simply by the Word of the Lord.
We are David who has been anointed King but has been hiding out in caves while pursued by an enemy. He knew how to be a shepherd…he learned how to be a warrior and a leader. It is time to come out of the caves and out of hiding.
But where do we go and how to we get to the place where we stand in the Calling of God?
There are still some steps we must go through. Think of the situations that Abraham and David encountered. It was no easy road yet I wager that neither Abraham or David would say (if asked) “I wish we had not gone that way.” They would tell you that they were glad for all that was learned on the path from a son to a “Father of Nations” or from the lowliest shepherd to the “King of a Nation”.
Okay…I did not get all that last night but what I did get is that offers are going to come that are going to position us where we need to be. They may not look like the whole “kit and caboodle” of what we need to happen. But they are from God! No…we are not healed yet and no we are not wealthy yet but we are ready for the next step and the door is going to be opened to move on. IT IS TIME! I am saying to you that when that door opens….GO! I personally believe that a door is going to open for me in the next couple of days. When it does I will not hesitate. God will work out how to get me there and I am going to walk in that and not agitate over the rest.
