Vision: Eagle Bridge
Men, women and children in obedience to the Lord’s instruction were fleeing this remote high place, where they had been brought to, years before, by the chieftain of this desolate place.
At that time, these people had fled from the Lord as they did not want to do His Will, and landed right into the arms of this crafty chieftain and his cohorts.
Having suffered unbearable torment, they remembered the Lord and repented of their ways.
In answer to their cries, the Lord commanded them to flee from this high place. They climbed all the way to the top only to find more treacherous and wild terrain. There was no land in sight just the rough sea with not a boat upon it. They were exposed on every side and the chieftain and his cohorts were in hot pursuit.
Eagles flying in groups of threes and fours, were watching what was going on below. They saw how brave the people were and how full of faith that the Lord would provide a way to escape.
They heard the people praying for a bridge to take them to the other side.
The eagles looked around and saw that the nearest inhabitable land fit for such a vast multitude was thousands of miles away.
So filled with compassion, they too prayed that the Lord would send the people a bridge, and quickly.
The air was filled with prayer. People were praying in one accord, “Lord send us a bridge quickly”.
Seeing the enemy closing in on the people, and no bridge in sight, their hearts filled with concern, the eagles turned to God and asked, “Lord, do you plan to send them a bridge?”
