VISION: MUSIC IN HIS EARS

VISION RECEIVED IN GOA- India 31ST MAY 2006 10.20 P.M.

Large giant sized brand new, shiny guitars, synthesizers, speakers, every manner of musical instruments and accessories from around the world, appeared before God.
The Lord was angry and He was grieving.
People had not played these instruments, just dedicated them.



Even the eagles there could not understand exactly what it was that was grieving God, and disgusting Him. Nonetheless they told the people gathered before them that God was disgusted at the ‘dedicated’ brand-new musical instruments.

This made the people of God weep bitterly. They wept, they sniffled, and they fell prostrate. And suddenly their ears were opened. They just knew that God was Pleased. But now the great puzzlement was………what exactly was it that was so pleasing to God?

As the people of God continued weeping, they heard a symphony. The sounds were wonderful. They could each hear the musical sounds caused by the rolling down of tears of the people of God all over the world, the sounds of the tears rolling as a flood, into a river.
The intermittent sounds of the sniffling sounded musically comical. The sounds of the people of God falling prostrate, and rising up, the sounds of rendering of hearts, the sounds, the sounds, the sounds! It was a harmonious, invigorating music! All this was sheer music to God’s Ears.
The people of God rejoiced, rose to their feet and drank from a brook along their way. The sounds of their thirst being quenched, eating to the full, embracing in love and forgiveness were all music! The people of God were amazed, they proclaimed, “ That means WE are the musical instruments!”

They understood that when they fled from sin, their feet made amazing music, and when they ran to give the good news, again, delicious, delectable sounds.
Musicians were to translate those sounds into ‘musical feasts’.

As the People of God ran to the Lord to thank Him, there was a great tickling sensation on their feet, they could not understand why. They reached the Throne of God with great joy and they gurgled. The Lord Asked them why they were gurgling. They could not answer, for they knew not the answer, they simply said, “ Lord, You Know!”

The Lord then made them look under their feet and there embedded in were golden musical notes.

Every time they ran to the Lord, He would hear the musical sounds from their feet.

What I believe the Lord is Saying:

For far too long, the Church at large has sent ‘offering bags’ around, collecting vast sums of money to buy fancy musical instruments and accessories.

Musicians are copying ‘world’ sounds. God wants to open the ears of musicians. But for that they will have to ‘unlearn’ all the music they know. And learn first, that they themselves are musical instruments in the sight of God. Are they tuned instruments or are the discordant notes, residing in the recesses of their hearts, creating a din in the Ears of God? They need to hear the sounds that please God. They need to fine-tune themselves first. The musicians will discover sounds. They are not new sounds to God, but they will appear ‘new’ to musicians and listeners.

Christian music is trapped in the man-pleasing realm. It has to be liberated.

God wants to give musicians musical instruments they have neither known nor heard before. Music of God is not by works, but by the in-working of Grace within.

Musicians are to understand the music of the farmer, the harvester, the cutting of the ear of corn, they are to capture and translate these sounds. Nature is full of sounds of crickets and bats and enemy footsteps. There are sounds of the seasons. We know the sounds of friends and strangers and foes.

Let us hear with the Spirit of God, the sounds of the Spirit. Hear the warning sounds, the lion crouching at the door. Elisha prophetically heard the sound of the murderous King’s feet. (2 Kings 6:30-33). Musicians capture those warning sounds. Hear the cry of Rachel; hear her desolation, and hear the consolation from God (Jeremiah 31: 15-17).

Hear the joy of feet hastening to God. Hear Isaiah 52: 7-10, hear the beauty of those feet that bring good tidings.

Hear the Alabaster jar break. Musician, translate those joyful sounds.
Convey the sounds in instrumentals; the sounds won’t always need words.
Though the musicians’ mouths are silent, but in translating these sounds they will sing volumes.

When we hear right, our music will be affected. You are the musical instruments, play you! Know the jarring notes and recognize the harmony. People of God will no more be tone deaf.
Sing prophetic songs. (Ezekiel 33: 31-33) Ezekiel sang. Hear the danger, as David played, (1 Samuel 19: 9,10), hear the sounds of Saul’s spear. Hear the sounds of jealousy. Hear the whistle in Isaiah 5:26b.

Can you hear that?

Human ear cannot hear but people of God will hear. They will hear the sound of oil running down, hear the sounds of the unity, (Psalm 133) hear the constant discordant notes of the sins of Israel, their constant cries to the Lord , His enduring Mercies and constant deliverance in Psalm 107. Hear the exquisite music of restoration. Hear the calmed and quieted soul as a weaned child in Psalm 131.

Musicians will be caught up in trances, to hear the prophetic sounds ……sound of maturity.
People will be able to hear the difference in the sounds of milk and meat.

Hear the sounds of Isaiah 61; hear the sounds of sprouting in verse 11. Musicians, hear the sounds in Isaiah 51: 12-16, Isaiah 28:23-29 and in John 3:14 hear the sound of the brazen snake lifted up. Hear Jeremiah 46: 3,4, hear the prodigal’s turn around in Luke 15: 17, and the outcome in verses 20 & 22.

Moses heard the sounds of revelry. He recognized the displeasing sounds. Musicians, who desperately seek the Lord, will also discern the discordant notes.

Christian musicians will discover new musical instruments. World music tugs at emotional strings. Musicians must arouse the spirit sound from within to without. The Grace of God will ‘fire up’ the instruments. At present our sounds seem identical to the sounds of the world. Musicians must progress from the childish milk and ice-cream van music. Sounds of music are to come, which will sound like madness, to the world, but will be sounds of wisdom to God. As people sit before God, they will hear the sounds of their own joy within, their own peace, their Holy Spirit comfort within. Today we hear the ‘been there, done that’ sound. Hear what God hears and music will change. We will no more ape the world. In this way, as each hears the music in them, they will understand what pleases God.

New music! Make new music! Hear new music!
The instruments of the world will make totally different sounds when in the hands of godly musicians.

Music is not for people, but is actually an offering to God. It must come out of that man-pleasing realm.

These joyful sounds annoy the devil. Revelation is coming to musicians about the sounds God likes.

Hear the sounds of trust, hope, and belief in God. The tone of unbelief of many “believers’’ prayers sounds like “ God if You really exist, hear this!” It sounds awful to God. All the ‘praise’ they offer, is mere lip-service.

Musicians if you turn your hearts away from offering filthy sounds to God, in the guise of music, and seek instead to hear from God, prepare then, for days of frustration ahead. For you will go through a painful process of unlearning, of eliminating sounds you once found thrilling. But know for sure that when that moment of revelation about music that God likes, comes, you will not sleep. For the excitement of truly hearing the music God likes, will keep you joyfully refreshed and awake.

MUSICIANS! HEAR THE BIBLE!

Now let’s make music pleasing to God.
