VISION: EAGLES AND 'THE ROPE'
17TH February 2014
I saw this vision over a month ago.
A large number of people were travelling through the desert. At the very commencement of the crossing, they had understood that this was a time when they all had to pass through such a hostile environment, to get the other side.
Nonetheless, as they continued to trudge through this wasteland day after day, they could now only see vast endless stretches of sand, with not a speck of land visible in the horizon.

The people had continued trudging through this desert for quite some time now, and there was no end in sight.
This large group had traveled so far, but now they seemed on the verge of giving up. They had limited food; how were they to ration it, they wondered, if they did not know how long they would remain in the desert. The people were sighing and appeared almost ready to faint not from lack of food or water, but from despair.
As these desert travelers glanced at their limited food and water supply, it was not that they were not grateful to God that thus far they had not lacked; but now the desperate question on every lip was, “How long, Lord, how long? Lord, how much longer in the desert? When will this desert end? How far are we from the end? Won't You Give us a sign Lord?”
As they walked on feeling weak and frail, they fell to their knees upon the sand, wanting to just lie down and die, when they all noticed something buried in the sand.
“What is it?” they asked one another.
“ It looks like a rope,” replied one of the diggers, as she and the others effortlessly pulled out what was only loosely buried in the sand.
“What kind of a sign is this? A long rope?”
Puzzled, the people did not look at it any further, they silently picked up their new find and each one walked holding on to some portion of it. They all wondered about the rope as they moved on, but then quickly returned to crying out to God, “How long, Lord, how long? Lord, how much longer in the desert? When will this desert end? How far are we from the end? Give us a sign Lord.”
Suddenly the people noticed a large convocation of eagles circling the sky. “What is that in your hands?” asked one of the eagles.
“ It’s a rope,” replied an old man, as he squinted his eyes, to look up.
The people were startled as this large convocation of eagles swooped down and took the rope that was in their hands.
Amazed, the people continued to look up and watched as the eagles disappeared with the long rope behind the highest sand dunes.
The eagles now speedily unfurled the ‘rope’.
I saw that the sand covered ‘rope’ the people had been carrying was a large twisted and intricately rolled around fishing net.
The eagles held the large net with their beaks and lowered it in the nearby abundant waters. Instantly, the net was filled to the overflowing with fish.
The eagles flew the abundant catch to the people in the desert.
The people were overjoyed as they quickly comprehended all that was transpiring around them. They jumped up shouting, rejoicing and waving their arms in the air, praising God.
They now understood that they did not have far to walk. The desert journey seemed to be coming to an abrupt end. They not only had abundant food, new and old, to tide them over to their destination, but now they could see that they would even have plenteous left-overs.
Ezekiel 34:12-15
12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.
