Vision: The Message Is Simple

VISION: THE MESSAGE IS SIMPLE
18th May 2006

As you can see by the date, I received this vision last year, but waited and waited and waited wondering when I was to post it.

Today, 25th June 2007, I feel led to now post it.

Vision:
Messengers from God were Sent to speak to men on earth, in every generation. Whenever the messengers Sent by God visited, people would warmly greet and welcome the messenger. But within seconds, there would be distractions; there’d be a knock on the door, a flattering note of thanks would arrive at that exact precise moment, music would start playing, people would flock to the door, communications would come, chores, any and every distraction would always rear up at that exact moment that the messenger Sent by God visited.

These people who were ministers would ask the messenger to wait, whilst they left to attend to the distractions.

The messenger from God of course did not wait, but went rather to those who would listen. But these men with distractions, when they returned to the room, would find an angel waiting for them. This was the angel of light.

This angel of light knew that these men were waiting to hear from God, but were easily distracted.
This angel of light would give them national, regional, social and cultural strategies.

“Offend not men in cultures and nations for are not religions, cultures and nations of God too?”
The angels would ask in a silky smooth voice.

Every generation was trapped in this trick question.

So these ministers traveled the world many times over, but the word of God was laid gently into the bosoms of nations, so as not to disturb national pride, religious/ cultural addictions and social norms.

In most generations, the messengers from God found hardly many ministers willing to put away their distractions and hear the message of God.

PRESENT DAY:
A number of children of God, in this generation realized that looking back at the past generations, something seemed not quite right, something seemed amiss.
Where was the depth? Where the revelations to equip this generation?

Then a few heard that God was Sending them a Word.
These quickly alerted all those they knew, who really loved the Lord.



These God-lovers disconnected all lines of communication to them, no matter where in the world they were and hid away, eagerly awaiting His Word. Many had reams of paper and pens and marker pens, all laid out on the table, so they could write down all He Spoke.

Everyone bathed.
I saw many in fields and villages, quickly bathing in nearby streams, in preparation to receive the Word they believed would surely come.

And that day came, which all these God-Lovers had waited for.

They all sensed the Presence of the Lord in their midst.

“What is the new Word for our times, Oh, do tell us”, they begged with earnest eagerness.
“So, what is the message?” they pleaded, pen and paper in hand. All were ready to write for hours and days if need be, the new message.

To their amazement, the response was so brief!

“ The Message is simple” Said the Lord.

There was utter silence. They all sensed a peace that passeth all understanding.

John 3:16 was writ large before them.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes, they wondered, what message had many Christian leaders been giving to the WORLD God so loved that He gave his only begotten Son?

The God lovers suddenly realized that ministers in the past had preached a soft , national-cultural-socio-economic-individual-specific message. One such as the world likes to hear but not that which the world NEEDS TO HEAR!

A message that encouraged cultures to adapt His Word, as per their convenience.
So world-over many Christian leaders had preached/encouraged about attire, gender, submission, accountability, style of worship etc that emanated from deep rooted religious, cultural/ individual preferences, inspired by a desire not to offend the locals, and to feel good about themselves.

World over the result was that, the national/cultural/social preferences had taken pre-dominance over the Word of God.
These apostles of the past who had built man-made structures, to by-pass the ‘offense’ giving part of His Word, had compromised.

These apostles had believed they preached a ‘workable’ gospel. They believed they had created essential structures; after all did'nt apostles have a license to do so? They thought that they had spent their lives in evangelizing and working for God, but actually they had allowed the angel of light to speak words of compromise in their ears. They had frittered away precious time. For the gospel that these now religious, nationalistic / culture etc -centric people were passing on, was tainted and complex.

When some recipients of this message heard this from God-lovers, they asked, “The message is simple? That’s it?”

These had waited to receive profound revelations from God's messengers, covering reams and reams of paper, so that they could go back to the people show them that they had been spending time, hearing what God had to say through His messengers.
Now who would believe them, if they passed on a word that said, “The message is simple”.

Such were offended , they walked away, disappointed. They grumbled, “ This message is not from the Lord. It is not complicated enough.”

But to those who believed that ‘the message is simple’, it was akin to the time, when they were born-again, when they had first believed in Jesus Christ.
Joy and warmth flooded their whole being.
This was a revelation to them. They jumped with joy! Some of the taller men got so excited, they jumped upto the ceiling.

I saw these God-lovers at various international airports, traveling with this message.
Many international airport authorities asked if they had anything to declare, before they entered their nation.
The God lovers replied, yes, “We have a message from God, a message the world needs to hear”.
“And what might that message be?” asked the officials.
“ THE MESSAGE IS SIMPLE”, they replied joyfully.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

The airport authority officials laughed. “ It’s not that simple! Our nation is at present not looking for a simple message, but one that will fit into our complex national/socio/economic programs and please every individual. We're a democracy. Your message is too simple to fit into our constitution and will only upset our legal system, and bring no votes.”

Other airport officials elsewhere said, " You'll have to adjust that message a bit, like your brothers who came before you. Our benevelent dictator, in this country does not want the peasants to revolt".

At an eastern airport, one official said, " This nation is one of the oldest civilizations. For thousands of years, we've had our own customs and own way of doing things. Your message sounds too simple and straight. How will you fit it into the complexities of our idol-worshipping culture? Your brothers before you brought such adaptable messages, that for centuries, the people they preached to have remained an irrelevant minority. Had your brothers not adapted the message to our liking, we would have had a revolution on our hands, and lost our culture which we so dearly revere. They would have set our nation on fire. We are grateful that did not happen.

Now let's see.............a simple message huh? Have you come to set fire to our nation? Most of the leaders here are under our control, have been for centuries.

Go back, we want no fire, no revolution, no simple message"

The official tried several times to stamp 'VISA DENIED', but it was in vain. The ink on the stamp became invisible.

The God lovers were not pressured. They depended on God to make a way, not airport officials.

For they recieved Counsel only from the Holy Spirit and not from dictators. They would preach exactly that which the Lord had told them to. They who wanted to recieve would recieve, they who were looking for the complex, would not believe. They knew their work was but to trust God, Who would make a way for them, past all those airport authorities. They were to obey God, deliver the message and not win people over by needless quarrels and heated arguments, or compromises. Obey, deliver the message exactly and move on..........obey, deliver the message exactly and move on, .........Their work they realized was simple, if they added not to it.

Last:
I saw these God-lovers, filled with joy, child-like, singing/humming ‘Amazing Grace’, and other old hymns, in their homes, in the villages, in the fields, in their cars, wheresoever they were, I heard them singing.

6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
