Vision: Two Women And The Wallet
28th September 2006
For some days now, this vision keeps repeating itself before my eyes, so I would like to share it.
I saw two women, dressed similar, and even looked the same height and build, though I do not think, their dress or physique was exact same or identical. They just looked similar in appearance and dress.
They were both walking down the street, on the pavement. They did not talk to each other. But from a distance, at a glance, it appeared as if they were walking together, and even knew each other. On closer inspection though, one could see that there was just a safe distance between them.
One woman walked near the Curb’s edge, the other walked on the inside, well away from the Curb. Judging from the lighting it was late in the day, but not night-time, as there was still some day-light.
Suddenly a car stopped, it was a very long Limo, and a man flashily dressed got out to speak to these women. The long black Limo was parked on the other-side of the street, where it was dark, and it looked like nighttime, but nonetheless, due to the light emanating from the pavement where the women walked, the black Limo, was picking up the light and gleaming and shining.
The man whipped out a wallet and wanted to show it to the women.
The woman who was on the inside, away from the Curb, just looked at the scene, understood it immediately, even before the man came near them and whipped out the wallet, (just a glance at the gleaming black Limo, parked on the other-side, sent alarm signals through her) and in a flash she ran away as fast as she could, screaming, “ Flee from sin, flee from sin.”
And disappeared, somewhere at the end of the street.
The woman walking near the Curb, was unperturbed that the woman had fled, rather, she was now curious, she smiled back at the man, and allowed him to chat her up, just as a street walker would, when she’s being ‘picked up’; and as he held his wallet open, and invited her to peek inside it, she giggling and with wide-eyed, ‘pretended innocence’, willingly obliged. She seemed in no hurry to go wherever it was that she was headed, before this man arrived on the scene.
The Curbside woman poked her face into the section of the wallet where currency notes are kept and at the center bottom was a hole. Through that ----she saw ‘in a moment of time’:
In a flash, the Curbside woman, saw a flashy world zoom before her. Money, flashy buildings, great wealth and amazing seemingly endless numbers of brightly lit palatial structures/buildings. She could not take her eyes off the razzmatazz, the glitter, she saw before her eyes. Her eyes widened further, inside the wallet, just seeing it all.
She did not realize that now the wallet had grown giant-sized and her face was stuck /glued in the wallet. She was unaware, that even if she were to try, she would not be able to remove her face from that wallet. It was so deeply immersed inside the wallet.
She was sniffing inside the wallet, like one might sniff cocaine or some addictive substance. She was unaware, that now, outside the wallet, all was pitch dark.
I asked the Lord, besides Whom I stood, watching this scene, ( and referring to the woman who had fled)
“ Lord, is this the point where the character is developed?”
The Lord Replied, “ No, this is the point where the character is revealed. “
The women had appeared similar, but it seemed that this was the point where all the preparation of character, or lack of it was revealed.
Isaiah 17:7,8
In that day a man will look to his Maker, And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.
He will not look to the altars, The work of his hands; He will not respect what his fingers have made, Nor the wooden images nor the incense altars.
