Vision: Eagles And The 'White Garments'

Vision: Eagles And The 'White Garments'

10th AUGUST 2009

I saw many eagles circling the skies.

Down below, in the centre of the earth, in a very wide incomplete circle, were a mountain pile of white gowns.

The air was filled with strange voices calling to the masses.

“ Come and get your white gowns.”

People rushing to the high pile of white gowns, were encouraging others to join them, saying, “ The white gowns have arrived! The white gowns have arrived! The white gowns are upon the mountains of the Lord. Let us go up, and get gowns for us, for now we can look holy.”

The eagles that were circling the skies above, were disturbed by the stampede down below. People were rushing all at once, for these white garments.

The eagles knew for sure there were no mountains, beneath those white garments.

It was just a mountain of white clothes. But they knew not what manner of white garments lay in that pile.

As the eagles looked closely, they saw that the multitude of 'white garments', piled high, made it seem from afar, that they stood upon mountains.

Suddenly, on the prompting of the Lord,  all the eagles, in unison, swooped down upon the 'white garments', and each picked one up in their beak, shook it and displayed it from above to all the people who stood down below.

When the garment was unfolded and displayed, it was clear that the clothes were not flowing white robes, but were actually adult sized christening gowns, in an old fashioned design, exactly as those worn by babies for baptisms / christening ceremonies.

Beneath each christening gown was a baby toy, pacifiers, different types of rattles, soft toys, etc.

Buried in the pile of garments, was a placard on a wooden stick, stating the price of the christening gowns.

As the eagles held up these adult sized christening gowns, to the light, the style, design and the stains were exposed. There were rust stains on these old fashioned looking christening gowns.

The people who were rushing to get these gowns, did not appear to know that there was a cost to pay.

People saw the eagles, displaying the stained giant christening gowns, in their beaks, for all to see and be warned, nonetheless, many ignored the warnings and ran to the mount of gowns, and trampled upon it.

There was a stampede. Those who walked upon the gowns stained them further, with their feet.

None could see the price of the gowns from down below, but the moment each of them got up to the top of the pile, hands emerged from under the mass of  gowns, and stripped them of all their clothing and money. These hands, dressed each, in these (now much stained) christening gowns, and handed the people a pacifier and soft toys.

The people who had jumped up and down in joy, for having reached the top of the pile, now dressed in their stained old fashioned christening gowns, tumbled down fast.

I saw that those who fell to the ground, were badly hurt. All had baby pacifiers, and were clutching the soft toys.

When medics came to examine them, they refused to let go their stained christening gowns, their pacifiers, or their soft toys. They would not allow the medics to bring to their attention, their grievous wounds. They shooed away the medics, and said, “ Go away, mind your own business.”

The fallen were seething within. They refused all help, because they felt that the eagles, and all those who did not go up the mount of garments, were mocking them, gloating at them. They were burning with anger and rage, that those they had disdained in the past, now rushed to their help. They suspected the motives of all who ran to help them.

The eagles had, after having displayed the gowns to warn all, thrown the garments back down on the mount.

They waited and watched what transpired with the fallen. Seeing that the fallen, dressed in their christening gowns, were loathe to receive help from anyone, and were shooing all away, the eagles sought the Lord on what to do next. They had with them the Balm the Lord Had Given them. But the fallen were weakly signalling with their hand, for all who came forward to help them, to leave them alone.

They refused all help. They clung to their pacifiers and soft toys, and old fashioned rust stained christening gowns. They blamed God for letting them fall. They were suspicious of the motives of all who offered help.

Though fallen and grievously hurt, their anger, pride and arrogance rose as a hindrance to block out all the help sent to them.

I saw that very few had heeded the eagles' warnings, and turned away from the stained pile of christening gowns.

I saw now, that the eagles had suddenly disappeared.
