Vision: Face the Message2
nd February 2014
I saw this vision a few days ago.
I saw these people facing daily drudgery, and now having zero expectation from the world around them, be it religious or other; these folk began to speak to the Lord, “Is this it? “They asked Him, “Is this really all there is ….?”
I saw that these people were going about their daily routines, commuting the same route, participating in joyless activities, always pushed around by the crowds, now this way, now another.
Crowds crowds crowds.
Leaders spoke at them, salesmen spoke at them, and they didn't know the difference. No message or messenger spoke
to them.
All day long they were faced with varied multitudes speaking on behalf of the Lord. These contradictory messages filled them with conflicting emotions. Some messages had thrust them into a flurry of short-lived excitement and activity. Other messages had so plunged them in doubt, despair and pessimism that to do anything at all caused them fear.
And now in this insufferable period of repetitious joylessness, they faced the drone of one more life-less message.
Suddenly, these people looked scared. They were momentarily overcome by a strange dread.
They began to wonder if this cheerlessness was going to be as a life sentence, they were condemned to serve? They spoke to the Lord. “Is this it? “They asked Him, “Is this really all there is ….?”
Deep within, these folk had hoped to hear a message that would uplift them, a message that would annihilate their spiraling cynicism. But now here they were, faced once again with the uninspiring and the uninspired.
And the people despaired. They asked God, “Lord, are we to face this every day?
Where’s the message?”
All of a sudden, they heard the Reply,
“Face the message”.
