VISION: WISE LEADERS SIT OUT THE DANCE
8th January 2008
I think I saw this vision around early December 2007. I shared it briefly on TRUNEWS RADIO, aired on the 2nd of January 2008.
VISION:
I saw a large ornately decorated old fashioned ballroom. Like those popular in the last century and beyond. People there were fashionably dressed, but for another era, not the present day times. They looked dated. They were modern-day people yet they looked like folks from another era.
On the floor were lying discarded many flashy, golden colored dance cards.
Couples were twirling around on the dance floor, but I noticed that a distance away, there was a bench upon which sat many whom I understood to be wise American men and women, who lived in and outside America. These wore simple but smart modern-day clothes. I saw some whom I understood to be diplomats posted in other nations. I saw that the people on the dance floor danced varied dances.
These wise Americans in and outside America, sitting on a bench for a moment looked pensive.

VISION: WISE LEADERS SIT OUT THE DANCE
I understood within the vision that each had worked hard, prayed and hoped for a promotion, to lead America in various fields. And now that opportunity had come, it was right there before their very noses.
If these were to rise up and display their dancing skills, they would outshine all on the floor. The dance steps of others were faulty and out of tune and inappropriate for the music they were supposed to be dancing to. Everything there looked inappropriate for the modern times, the clothes of the people, the music, the dance steps, the environment. If these with wisdom rose up and danced, they could show the folks how it was really done. But these leaders with wisdom, chose deliberately to pass up the opportunity to lead, as they saw that the environment in which they were was not condusive to introduce that which was right and correct.
Yet, it was all so tempting, to just rise up and show the people a step or two!
I saw that for a fraction of a moment some could not believe that they were passing up such a great moment to display their skills, and expertise, but quickly they were reassured from deep within that they were doing the right thing at the right time, so they threw away the dance cards and sat out the dance.
I understood within the vision that there are many leaders richly endowed with wisdom, in and outside America, but they were being divinely witheld from leading the nation. They understood that the system in which they were called to lead had weak structures and many of these structures were nearing collapse. If these leaders with wisdom were to step in, they would at best be expected to 'go with the flow' and prop up the very structures that were detrimental for America. The people would expect, nay demand that of them, as they were enamoured by these structures. To speak against these structures or tear them down would in the eyes of these masses be akin to blasphemy and treachery.
So they sat out the dance, and did not take part in the revelry. They could forsee that the pace of the music would speed up and those on the dance floor would dance wildly and with gay abandon, and would spin out of control and start throwing up. In wisdom, they sat as far away as they could, so as not to be dirtied.
They disassociated themselves with the activities in the ballroom and just sat and watched.
Now to the extreme left in a corner, I saw thick black curtains. The blackness of these curtains was deep and looked eerie, frightening even.
Behind these curtains stood crafty leaders , with evil plans. They too were waiting for the structures to fall but for their own crafty and devious purposes.
I saw some of those wise leaders, for a moment in deep thought, shake their head in disbelief.
Here was the golden opportunity they had waited for, worked for, hoped for, prayed for. And yet, when that opportunity was presenting itself to them, they were declining it, and rather choosing to 'sit out out the dance'.
This was happening in the 'church', and in the nation. I saw that the remnant did not lack leadership, but the general 'church' and the nation, continued with the same type of leadership.
Yes, within these types of environs, there were true leaders, but they were passing up the opportunity, to lead. Some knew exactly why they did so, others simply sensed that they were to 'sit out the dance'.
Those close to them thought they were crazy.
"If you know what's wrong with the nation/'church', then rise up and grab this golden opportunity, and LEAD. This is a God-Sent opportunity," their friends, families, well-wishers and those around them who did not understand, urged. But these leaders in whom was wisdom, knew that that was not true. Their time to lead America had not come. Many structures were to fall. When the structures crumbled under their own weight, these wise leaders would step in, not to prop up old structures but build anew.
Until then, they chose in all wisdom to wait and watch.
It was the time for wise leaders to sit out the dance.
