I am reminded of a vision I saw around 1995, when I was in Singapore. I would like to share it here.
This is a gist, from memory.
Vision: Eagles-Vultures-Eagles
I saw eagles in the middle of busy roads, walking among the common, they were eating trash, and any filth they could find. I was horrified to see what they doing. They never flew, they simply had their noses in skips full of garbage. As they ate from trash cans, their faces changed and they looked like vultures.
Next:
As the eagles continued eating this way, I saw that they had been placed in dark and dingy little caves, only a little bigger in size than them.
This scene made me weep uncontrollably.
Here were these once elegant, beautiful eagles, looking so hideous, as vultures. I could not stop weeping, as this vision unfolded.
I waited watching these eagles in sheer despair.
I was reluctant to leave them this way, but I could do nothing except wait and watch, and continue praying in the spirit. At the beginning of their time in the dinghy caves, they drank from a trickle of what looked more like a cesspool, and ate vermin.
It was such a heart-rending sight.
Later I saw that they had their heads bowed down, with shame, they were now totally without food. The ground around them was bare. They were not searching for the unclean to eat or drink. They simply looked sad and still. As if they did not want anyone to see their pitiable condition.
After what seemed like ages, I saw a Bright Light Standing at the cave’s entrance.
Oh, what joy!
These ‘vultures’ were engulfed in this Light and within a flash, they turned back into eagles. As I looked up at the sky, I heard the Lord Say to me, ‘Now there are equal number of eagles and vultures in the sky. Not one is missing.’
